Martin Astudillo is an Argentine football midfielder. He was born on July 10 1977, in the city of Mendoza in Argentina. He currently plays for CD Alaves of the Segunda Division in Spain.
Astudillo started his career with Primera B Nacional outfit Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba of Mendoza Province in 1995.
In 1997 he was signed by Gimnasia de La Plata of the Primera Division Argentina and two years later he moved to CD Alaves.
Astudillo has played in La Liga and in the Segunda Division in Spain, twice staying with Alaves after relegation from La Liga.
The most significant game of his career to date was the 2001 UEFA Cup final against Liverpool F.C., Alaves eventually lost the game 5-4 after extra time.
