Jose Antonio Chamot (born 17 May 1969 in Concepcion del Uruguay) is a retired Argentine footballer. He is currently serving as coaching assistant to Ariel Cuffaro-Russo at Rosario Central.
Throughout his career Chamot played for Rosario Central in Argentina, Pisa, Foggia, Lazio and AC Milan in Italy and Atletico Madrid in Spain. In a game for Milan at Juventus he shook Pierluigi Collina's hand post match and earned a 1-game ban for dissent.
