AeroSucre
AeroSucre is a cargo airline based in Bogota, Colombia. It started operations in 1969 and operates scheduled international and domestic cargo services and passenger charters within the Americas. Its main base is El Dorado International Airport, Bogota.
Incidents and accidents
On November 18, 2006, AeroSucre suffered its first airplane crash, which took place near Leticia, Colombia. The cargo plane was on final approach when it hit an antenna tower at the airport and crashed. Fog and poor visibility prevailed at the time of the accident. The aircraft involved was a Boeing 727-23F aircraft. Regrettably, all five crew members died soon after the accident [*].
