Ezequiel Garay

Ezequiel Marcelo Garay is an Argentine football player, who currently plays for Racing Santander in the Spanish La Liga, who plays as a central defender. His previous club was Newell's Old Boys of Argentina. He is notable for his ability to score, especially from deadball situations. In 2006-07, Garay scored 9 league goals, most notably 2 penalties in a 2-1 comeback home win over Real Madrid. He was Europe's second most prolific goalscorer in a defensive position, one goal short of Inter Milan's Marco Materazzi.
