Early life and education
Princess Maxima was born as Maxima Zorreguieta Cerruti in Buenos Aires, Argentina on May 17, 1971. Maxima is the daughter of Jorge Horacio Zorreguieta Stefanini (who would later be under-secretary of Agriculture under Jorge R. Videla's junta and three times a descendant of Pachacuti), and his second wife, Maria del Carmen Cerruti Carricart.
