Ivan Cordoba
Ivan Ramiro Cordoba Sepulveda is a Colombian footballer, who currently plays for Internazionale and the Colombia national team. He is the vice-captain of Internazionale and has also served as captain for his Colombia.
Naturally a central defender and world rated man-marker, he is athletic and relies mostly on his world class pace and reliable timing. Despite being only 173 cm tall, he is a good header of the ball, good jumper and often scores goals with his head. Cordoba is also a versatile defender. He sometimes plays as right back and has even filled the left back position.
He captained Colombia to win the 2001 Copa America competition, scoring the only goal in the final. Cordoba also played for his country in the 1998 World Cup.
