Edgardo Bauza (born January 26 1958, Granadero Baigorria, Santa Fe Province) is a retired football (soccer) defender from Argentina and current coach. He played most of his career for Rosario Central, but he also had short spells with Independiente in Argentina, Atletico Junior in Colombia and CD Veracruz in Mexico.
Bauza scored 80 league goals in 310 league appearances for Rosario Central making him one of the highest scoring defenders in the history of Argentine football.
Nicknamed El Paton (Big Footed), Bauza was a member of the Argentine team that was runner-up in the 1990 FIFA World Cup held in Italy.
