Ruben Omar Romano
Ruben Omar Romano Cachia is an Argentine-Mexican coach and former football player whose career has developed entirely in Mexico, country to which he came to play professional football in the early 80s. He is the head coach of Club America.
Romano played in Argentina for Club Atletico Huracan before leaving to Mexico in 1980 to play for Club America. He played in other 7 Mexican clubs: Leon, Necaxa, Puebla, Queretaro, Cruz Azul and Atlante and Veracruz. He is remembered as a left footed player with great talent for free kicks as well as extraordinary play maker.
