Eduardo Berizzo


Magnolo Eduardo Berizzo is former Argentine football player.

Berizzo started his career with Newell's Old Boys in 1988 before joining CF Atlas of Mexico in 1993. 1996 saw his return to Argentina to play for River Plate. He was signed by Olympique de Marseille in the summer of 1999, but loaned back to River Plate and then Celta Vigo. Celta signed him on 3 year contract in the summer of 2002. in 2005 he was signed a one year contract with Cadiz CF on free transfer. He holds an Italian passport, so he joined Spanish club does not used the Non-EU quota of the club.

Berizzo made his debut for Argentina in 1998 FIFA World Cup qualification against Venezuela on 9 October, 1996.
