National Television of Chile anounced a contest to find the greates chilean of all time. Candidates are:

Violeta Parra
Lautaro
Arturo Prat
Gabriela Mistral
Victor Jara
Alberto hurtado
Pablo Neruda

The point is : This a contest organized by the chilean Socialistic Government through his Television Station, in order to go on spreading lies about the Chilean late 50 years of history.
For sure on the contest will win one of the leftish guys who were the guys who most damaged tried to do to our country ( during the sixties and seventies) defending a (finnally) dying political system which fails everywhere it had the chance. That damage was only stopped by the chilean Military Government which lead CHILE to a good place within the countries wanting to be better.

What you wrote is bull shit, we had a dream before the asshole of pinochet which i say is an evil person, who killed thousands of people, for wanting to have rights as works and people of chile, Salvador Allende wanted rights for the people and not for the assholes of the rich who only want more for them selves and not for the people of chile. Shall i remind you that the people of chile went hungry is because pinoshit did that, thats what he is a pile of shit made people think that Salvador Allende was to blame for what was happing, thats the truth pinoshit is to blame for people to go hungry and taking the food away from the people. pinochet wasn't an angel either and I agree that he had to be punished when he was alive but the allende's government was leading us to a disaster, but these commie freaks never will understand that their system just doesn't work, personally I wouldn't like to live in a commie Russia, or in Cuba, or in China, just look how these countries are. China's being "succeful" just because they opened to the capitalist world, but their commie regime still hurts their citizen.

anyway, it's pointless to argue, they will never understand :P

I think the point in this kind of contest is to make children aware of important people of their home country:know who they were, what they did. Bute is really funny Allende won. Amazing.
