Carlos Tejedor (politician)
Carlos Tejedor was an Argentine jurist and politician, Governor of Buenos Aires Province between 1878 and 1880.
Tejedor was a prominent figure in the movement against the federalization of the City of Buenos Aires as the national capital. He served as a national deputy and as foreign minister in the government of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento (1870-4).
The Carlos Tejedor Partido is named after him.
