Julio Argentino Roca, Jr.

Julio Argentino Roca (17 May 1873 1942) was an Argentine politician, son of General Julio A. Roca (former President of Argentina).

He was twice a national deputy for Cordoba Province, and then governor of Cordoba from 1922 to 1925. In 1932 he was elected Vice-President of Argentina, until 1938, under President Agustin P. Justo.

Roca was co-author of the Roca-Runciman Treaty, signed with Great Britain in February 1933 in order to strengthen the commercial ties of both countries.
