Elpidio Gonzalez

Elpidio Gonzalez was an Argentine politician of the Radical Civic Union. He was Vice President from 1922 to 1928 in the Marcelo T. de Alvear administration.

Gonzalez studied in Rosario for his elementary and secondary education. He studied Law at the National University of Cordoba but he did not finish. He was a close friend of Hipolito Yrigoyen and played a part in the 1905 Revolution, where he was arrested.

Gonzalez obtained his Law Degree at the National University of La Plata in 1907. In 1912 he was elected National Deputy for the city of Buenos Aires and in 1916 he was elected National Deputy for Cordoba Province.
