Jose Felix Uriburu
General Jose Felix Benito Uriburu y Uriburu (1868 - 1932) was the first de facto President of Argentina, achieved through military force, from September 6, 1930 to February 20, 1932.
Born in the Argentine province of Salta, former President Jose Evaristo Uriburu was his uncle. He led a military coup against the President Hipolito Yrigoyen, in which the far-right Argentine Patriotic League participated. The coup initiated the Infamous Decade. His regime was strongly supported by rightist intellectuals such as Rodolfo and Julio Irazusta and Juan Carulla.
