History
After the decision to wind up Club Atletico Central Argentino a group of fans who didn't accept the closure of their club founded Club Social y Deportivo Central Ballester, on October 26 1974.
Although the new club is no replacement for the original, they have experienced promotion to Primera C but they soon returned to the lowest division of AFA afiliated football.
The club kit is modelled on the kit of los canallas Rosario Central.
