Olimpo de Bahia Blanca
Olimpo is an Argentine sports club located in the city of Bahia Blanca, Buenos Aires province, established in 1910. Their main sporting activities are basketball and football (soccer).
Being from Bahia Blanca, Argentina's basketball capital, most of Olimpo's associates and energies were orientated to that sport. However, by the late 1990s, the football team became increasingly important as they were promoted several divisions, finally reaching first division in the 2000s.
Their nickname is Aurinegros .
After capturing both the Apertura and Clausura tournaments during the 2006-07 season, Olimpo returned to Argentina's top division in 2007-08.
