Club Atletico Victoriano Arenas
Club Atletico Victoriano Arenas are an Argentina Football club, from Avellaneda, in the Buenos Aires Province of Argentina. They currently play in the regionalised 5th level of Argentinian football Primera D Metropolitana.
The club were founded on January 2 1928 taking their name from an estate agent in Valentin Alsina.
In 1998 history was made in the Victoriano Arenas stadium when Florencia Romano became the first female ever to manage a male professional football club.
According to a poll carried out by a major Argentinean sports newspaper on December 2007, Victoriano Arenas is the fifth club in southern Great Buenos Aires by their number of supporters. The poll showed the club has more supporters than clubs such as Arsenal de Sarandi, Los Andes or El Porvenir.
