Club Sportivo Desamparados are a football club from San Juan in San Juan Province, Argentina. They currently play in Torneo Argentino A, which is the regionalised third tier of the Argentine Football Association league system.
The club were founded in 1919 by a group of students from the Quinta Agronomica (Agricultural college), which is now the Escuela de Enologia (winemaking school). They chose the name Desamparados because they used to meet in Plaza Desamparados, it is also a tribute to the Virgen de los Desamparados (Virgin of the poor).
The club have qualified to play at the top level of Argentine football 4 times.
1969 - 12th of 17 clubs.
1972 - 9th of 13, Group B.
1973 - 11th of 15, Group B.
1974 - 6th of 9, Group A.
