Domingo Nieto
Domingo Nieto was a Peruvian soldier and politician who became President of Peru between 1843 and 1844.
Nieto was born in Ilo in 1803. He sided with Ramon Castilla in the overthrow of the "Supreme Dictator" Manuel Ignacio de Vivanco, assuming the presidency of Peru. He died in office on February 17, 1844. Castilla succeeded him.
