Mario Pergolini


Mario Daniel Pergolini is an Argentine journalist, media producer and businessman, best known as the former main host of the television programme Caiga Quien Caiga (CQC) broadcast on Argentina's Telefe.

On August 1, 1985 he started his first radio program, Feedback, together with co-host Ari Paluch on FM Radio Continental. Later in 1986 the program was transferred to FM OKAY, where he would be later discovered by Daniel Grinbank, president of the new broadcasting station FM Rock & Pop, which by the time lacked of programs and just broadcast music. Finally Feedback was moved to FM Rock & Pop, and Mario Pergolini's voice was the first one ever transmitted through that network. Today it is one of the most modern radio networks in Latin America and Mario Pergolini is its most important figure. [*].

Pergolini is the Argentine TV host seen introducing the Ramones in the documentary film [[End of the Century: The Story of the Ramones]] (2003).
