Monica Spear Mootz is a model and former Miss Venezuela 2004.
She was considered a dark horse during the Miss Venezuela 2004 pageant and wasn't seen as a possible winner. Despite this, Spear went on to win the national crown and represent Venezuela at Miss Universe 2005. She successfully made the top 15 after Ana Karina Anez (Miss Venezuela 2003) failed to make the top 15 in Miss Universe 2004(for the first time in 22years) in Quito, Ecuador.
