Andrea Matthies-Bornhorst is a venezuelan model and beauty queen. She started in the modeling business at the age of 15 posing for well-known photographer Erick Peley. She then worked for the world-famous modeling agency Wilhelmina and a few other agencies in Europe and Latin America. At the same age she appeared on the cover of i-D in the United Kingdom. She participated in the 2007 edition of the Miss Venezuela pageant. Matthies, representing the state of Sucre became a big favorite.
