'Lidymar "Ly"Carolina Jonaitis Escalona' was 2nd runner-up in the Miss Universe 2007 pageant which was held in Mexico City, Mexico, on May 28, 2007. She stands 1.80 mts (5'11").On September 14, 2006, Jonaitis competed in the national beauty pageant Miss Venezuela 2006, held in Caracas, where she beat 27 other contestants and obtained the title of Miss Venezuela Universe.
