Milovan Petar Mirosevic Albornoz (born June 20, 1980) is a Chilean footballer of Serbian origin. He plays at a midfield position, and wears number "17". He has participated in all the national teams including under 17, under 20 and under 23. His current club is Beitar Jerusalem FC in the Israeli premier league. He is a regular member of the Chilean national side.
Mirosevic started his football career at Universidad Catolica, one of the 3 big teams in Chile. He was the star player in the team that won the Apertura tournament in 2002 under the former Chile National team coach Juvenal Olmos. After the great 2002 season he was transferred to Racing Club in Argentina were he had some very good and consistent seasons, and others where his level was more inconsistent. He was transferred to Beitar Jerusalem FC for the 2006/2007 season.
His footballing style is characterized by great pace, visionand team work. He has a good shot, both from distance and from free kicks. He is considered an idol by the Universidad Catolica fans, who hope we will someday return to the club that saw him become the footballer he is today. Mirosevic is known as being an intelligent person with academic talent and interest. He prefer to study (especially language courses) instead of just wasting his spare time . He comes from a well off family in Chile, where he attended Saint Gabriel's School.
