Alvaro Pereira (born January 28 1985 in Montevideo) is an Uruguayan football midfielder. He currently plays for Argentinos Juniors in Argentina.
Pereira started his career with Miramar Misiones in 2003, in 2005 he joined Quilmes Atletico Club but after their relegation from the Primera Division Argentina at the end of the 2006-2007 season he moved to Argentinos.
