Juan Carlos Oblitas


Juan Carlos Oblitas Saba is a former Peruvian football (soccer) player and currently a football manager, who is nicknamed El Ciego ("The Blind One"). Oblitas was an extraordinary outside left wing forward at the national team level for Peru back in the 70s and 80s.

Juan Carlos Oblitas, el Ciego, was born in Mollendo, Arequipa on February 16, 1951.
