Gaston Cellerino

Gaston Andres Javier Cellerino (born 26 June 1986) is an Argentine footballer who plays for Livorno in the Italian Serie A.

Cellerino was born in Viedma, Rio Negro Province. He started playing youth football in the infant divisions of Boca Juniors. He then played professionally for Deportivo Patagones of Argentina, Universidad San Martin de Porres in the Primera Division Peruana, and Atenas de San Carlos in the Segunda Division Uruguay, then joining Primera Division de Chile side Rangers in 2008.

In the Clausura 2008 tournament, Cellerino led Rangers as top goal scorer, with a total of 16 goals, before his team was eliminated against Club Deportivo Palestino in the tournament's semi-finals. His performances led to interest from a number of Italian teams. On January 24, 2009 Livorno surprisingly completed the permanent signing of Cellerino, with the player's representative confirming later in a press conference to have rejected a loan move to Lazio. In January 2010 Livornos 23-year old forward will play on loan for Celta Vigo until the end of the season 2010.
