Camilo Mori

Camilo Mori was a painter and a founder of the Grupo Montparnasse. He is a son of Italian immigrants.

Mori entered the Escuela de Bellas Artes (School of Fine Arts) at the University of Chile in 1914. In 1920 he joined the great gathering of artists in the Montparnasse Quarter in Paris, France. There, his encounter with Paul Cezanne greatly influenced his ideas of painting.
