Sairecabur


The Sairecabur volcanic group is a volcanic chain on the border between Bolivia and Chile with at least 10 postglacial centers, the highest of which is Cerro Sairecabur at . The complex includes the stratovolcanoes volcan Curiquinca and volcan Escalante or El Apagado as well as Cerro Colorado , about 12 km. to the north of Sairecabur.

Cerro Sairecabur rises at the northern end of a 4.5 km wide caldera, which is also the location of the Receiver Lab Telescope (RLT) at .
