Patagonic Archipelago
The Patagonic Archipelago is an archipelago on the southwest of coast of South America covering about one third of Chile's coast. Situated between Chacao Channel and Drake's Passage it covers large parts of Chilean Aisen and Magallanes Region. Due to its position between the south Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific, it has strategic waterways such as the Strait of Magellan and Beagle Channel.
