Fuegian languages

Fuegian languages refers to mainly to three languages spoken in Tierra del Fuego by native Americans; the Kawesqar language, the Selk'nam language and the Yaghan language.

The term can be regarded as a collective name, but currently there is no evidence that they are related to each other. The Kawesqar and Yaghan languages are considered language isolates while Selk'nam language belongs to Chon languages.
