Ronald Vargas

Ronald Vargas (born 2 December 1986 in Guatire) is a Venezuelan footballer who plays for Club Brugge in the Belgian First Division. On 14 May 2008, the Belgian team Club Brugge confirmed that they signed Vargas on a 4-year deal from Caracas F.C. The transfer fee was 1.500.000.

Vargas has made 10 appearances for the Venezuela national football team, making his debut in the 1-0 match against Haiti, in February 2008. He scored his first goal in the historic win against Brazil at the Gillete Stadium, in June 2008; his partner Giancarlo Maldonado scored too, and Venezuela won 2-0.

On September 9, 2009, Ronald Vargas scored the last goal in Venezuela's 3-1 victory over Peru.
