Fernando Amorebieta Mardaras is a Venezuelan football player. He was born in Cantaura (Anzoategui), Venezuela. He plays for Athletic Bilbao as a defender.
He meets Bilbao's standards through his parents, both of whom were from the Basque Country.
Fernando, tried to play for La Vinotinto, but, according to FIFA regulations, he is not eligible owing to having played for Spain previously in the youth categories.
