Jose Manuel Rey Cortegoso is a Venezuelan football central defender currently playing for Caracas FC and for Venezuela's national team, being the nation's all-time cap leader with 108.
Known in Venezuela as Tetero, Gallego and Autobus, Rey became the first Venezuelan caps centurion on Saturday 6 September, 2008, in the 2010 World Cup qualifier 0-1 loss against Peru, at the Estadio Monumental in Lima.
During his career, Rey played mainly with Caracas Futbol Club, also representing several clubs in Europe and South America: C.S. Maritimo de Venezuela, Club Sport Emelec (two spells), Dundee F.C., Pontevedra CF, Atletico Nacional and AEK Larnaca FC. In 1995, he had a small spell with Deportivo de La Coruna, never making any official appearances for the club.
