Eduardo Gonzalez Viana
Eduardo Gonzalez Viana born November 13, 1941. Peruvian author and member of the Peruvian Academy of the Spanish Language. He was awarded the Juan Rulfo Award for best short stories in 1999 for the short piece "Siete Noches en California". His works include Los Peces Muertos (1964), Habla Sanmpedro: llama a los brujos (1979), El tiempo del amor (1984), El amor viene volando (1990), Sarita Colonia viene volando (1987), El correo de Salem (1999) and Los suenos de America (2001). Currently, he teaches Spanish language, literature and history at Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Oregon.
