Chopicalqui

Chopicalqui is a mountain of the Cordillera Blanca range in the Andes of Peru.

It lies in Yungay Province at an altitude of 6354 m above sea level and derives from the Quechua words

meaning "fits in the center", in reference to its location between the mountains of Huascaran and Contrahierba.

It is sometimes dubbed the easiest 6000m peak. This makes it very popular and can get crowded at times.
