Sigmodontomys aphrastus, also known as the Long-tailed Sigmodontomys, '''Harris's Rice Water Rat, or Long-tailed Rice Rat', is a species of rodent in genus Sigmodontomys'' of family Cricetidae. It is known from Costa Rica, Panama, and Ecuador.
