Carlos Daniel Hidalgo (born 1.22.1986) is a Colombian Striker who currently plays for Sporting de Gijon.
He played on the Colombian Sub 17 in 2003 FIFA U-17 World Championship and ended up being one of the golden boot award winners by scoring 5 goals which helped Colombia finish 3rd by beating Argentina 2-1
