Luis Amaranto Perea
Luis Amaranto Perea is a Colombian football defender, and an important player in the Colombian national set-up. His career began in Independiente Medellin. He later played in Argentina with Boca Juniors, with whom he won the Intercontinental Cup in 2003. In 2004 he moved to play for Atletico Madrid.
He is a player noted for his speed and often tagged 'the fastest defender in the world'. This is reflected in the video game Pro Evolution Soccer 6 where on speed stats he is the second fastest player in the game with 98/99.
