Miss World Chile
Miss World Chile is a beauty contest which has been held sporadically in Chile since 1963. The winner represents Chile in Miss World beauty pageant. The first winner was elected from a small group of contestants by an Argentinian company that had the franchise for five South American countries. In 2005 Chile didn't hold a competition, but in 2006 it was organized by Ricardo Guiraldes of Chilean Charm. Chile has had two Miss World semifinalists and one finalist (Queen Of The Americas 1998).
The current franchise is shaped by Luciano Marocchino and Eduardo Pantoja (Tradeco Ltda.), Lilian Arinoviche (Catwalk Latam Ltda.), Alejandro Schlessinger (CalypsoTV) and Edgardo Vogel (Exhibits S.A.).

Bernardita Zuniga, Miss World Chile 2007, was chosen on October 15, 2007, under the organization of Catwalk Latam. Bernardita represented Chile in Miss World 2007, which taked place in
Sanya, China, on December 1. She's part of Elite Model Chile Agency and stands 5'9''.
