Luis Palau
Luis Palau is a Christian evangelist native of Ingeniero Maschwitz, Buenos Aires, Argentina, presently residing in Portland, Oregon, United States. He says that he was born again and that he had devoted his life to Christ at the age of 12, and he began preaching at 18.
In 1976, on the 25th anniversary of Overseas Crusades, founder Dick Hillis stepped down as president and Palau was named president.
Palau has preached the Evangelical gospel to millions of people through large festivals worldwide, using the theme "Good Music and Good News", since 1999.
