Fanny Mikey was an Argentine-born Colombian actress and theater entrepreneur. She lived and worked in Colombia from 1959 until her death and was the creator and organizer of the Bogota Iberoamerican Theater Festival, known as the biggest theater festival in the world.
Mickey came to Colombia in the 60's, and established in Cali, where she became a big name in the theatre world. In 1976, she moved to Bogota, when se created "Teatro National" a foundation that impulsed culture all over Colombia, featuring adaptations of famous plays among many others.
