Austrian Argentine

The Austrian community in Argentina is considerable. They are often confused with the Germans. Within the Austrian Argentines some of the most remarkable are Eduard Ladislas Kaunitz, baron von Holmberg, and Nicole Neumann, who's father is Austrian.

Most Austro-Argentines are catholic, since Catholicism is the major religion in both countries.

After World War II, many Austrians migrated to Argentina, settling mainly in the mountains of Cordoba, where German settlements for example had founded the Villa General Belgrano.
