Eduardo Marturet

Eduardo Marturet is a Venezuelan conductor.

Born in Caracas, Marturet studied in Cambridge, England, where he obtained a degree in piano, percussion, conducting, and composition. In 1979 he returned to Venezuela with a permanent position as Associate Conductor of the Caracas Philharmonic Orchestra and, later, Artistic Director of the Venezuela Symphony Orchestra, which he held until 1995. He now is involved in the Venezuelan National Youth Orchestra movement giving advice and support in aid of poor children.
