Giovanni Tedesco is an Italian footballer who currently plays for US Palermo of Serie A. He is a centre midfielder. His last name literally translates into "German".
Despite being a native of Palermo, Tedesco was initially refused by the local team, US Palermo, because of his thin build, and then moved to Reggina, where he quickly became a regular just in 1990.
