The Roman Catholic Diocese of Ambato {Latin: Ambaten(sis)} is a diocese located in the city of San Juan de Ambato in the Ecclesiastical province of Quito in Ecuador.

February 28, 1948: Established as Diocese of Ambato from the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Quito
