The Roman Catholic Diocese of Machala {Latin: Machalen(sis)} is a diocese located in the city of Machala in the Ecclesiastical province of Cuenca in Ecuador.

July 26, 1954: Established as Territorial Prelature of Machala from the Diocese of Guayaquil and Diocese of Loja
January 31, 1969: Promoted as Diocese of Machala
