Rudi Gutendorf


Rudi Gutendorf (born 30 August 1926 in Koblenz) is a German football manager, renowned for managing the highest number of national teams - to date a total of 18 teams.

Retiring in 1953 he took part in a coach training course under Sepp Herberger receiving his licence in 1954 before embarking on his remarkable career the following year. His last coaching job was in 2003 the Samoa national football team.
