El carnaval de Oruro
El carnaval de Oruro refers to a special dance celebration in Bolivia, Oruro, Santa Cruz, Tarija, and La Paz. The carnival lasts for eight days preceding Ash Wednesday, and it always begins with a traditional dance featuring devil costumes. Hundreds of these "devils" dance while loud, raucous music plays. This carnival also contains many Spanish influences, especially in their music.
