Eduardo Abaroa
Colonel Eduardo Abaroa (whose last name is also sometimes spelled Avaroa) was Bolivia's foremost hero of the War of the Pacific , which pitted Chile against Bolivia and Peru. He was one of the leaders of the civilian resistance to the Chilean invasion at the Battle of Topater.
